Question - What are the benefits of buying a domain name & hosting it with Creative Pixel as opposed to hosting it on the free webspace provided by my Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Answer:
There are many reasons why choosing to host with the free space provided by your ISP is NOT a good idea

Your web address (if you were to host if with your ISP) would be something like http://www.fictionalisp.com/domains/myaccountnumber/mysitename/index.htm. Not very easy to remember! With your own domain name and dedicated hosting account, it gives you your own identity and it also shows your potential customers that you are serious about your business.

Using the free hosting account, any visitors to your site are likley to be bombared with popup adverts as this is how your ISP manages to pay for the free webspace they have given you. This does not give out a very professional appearance.

Finally, using the free webspace provided by your ISP does not give you the unlimited email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders and FTP accounts that we do.
